ABOUT ME
“Why stay within your comfort zone, when outside of it there is so much more to experience” this is a translation of a Dutch quote from Loesje, which has inspired me for many years now.
My name is Bente Knoppers, I am 22 years old and live in Groningen, the Netherlands. Currently, I study International Communication at the Hanze University of Applied Science. The first seven years of my Childhood I spent in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, where after me and my family moved to the Netherlands.
My first experience with photography was during a trip I made traveling through the US. I visited a museum where an entire floor with the worlds best photographs were presented. The way the photographers captured the emotions and atmosphere of certain happenings really inspired me. Here, the first step was taken towards learning the ins and outs of this form of art.
